I just finished reading “Saving My Assassin” by Virginia Prodan, and I’m awestruck.  https://www.amazon.com/dp/1496411838

YOU GUYS… I couldn’t put it down! Seriously, this is one of the best memoirs I have read in ages, and it struck so close to home, since I could hear my own parents’ story of persecution under the Communist regime in Romania as I read Virginia’s words.

I’ve promised myself since I was a little girl that I would write their story, and hopefully some day I will, but until then, you’ve got to get your hands on this book.

Honestly, I wasn’t expecting the writing to be very good since it’s written in her second language (and I’ve read my fair share of foreign memoirs that have left me feel meh), but the storytelling was gripping, the character development was rich, and the suspense was thrilling.

But most of all, this book led me to deeper worship of a God who knows all and sees all and still works miracles today.

If you haven’t read it yet, get this book As Soon As Humanly Possible. PSA over and out. 🙂
